I’m Chris Cole, a director and cinematographer creating cinematic stories for brands, agencies, and audiences around the world. Raised on Maui and based in Southern California, I bring a distinctive visual perspective to my work, combining bold imagery with authentic emotion and a clear sense of purpose.

I’ve worked with high-profile brands across the globe and built longstanding relationships with agencies and producers who trust me to bring their vision to life. My approach starts with understanding the story, the audience, and what makes each project unique. From there, I look for the unexpected—a fresh perspective, an honest performance, or a visual detail that makes the film memorable. I love pushing creative boundaries while staying focused on what the project needs to accomplish.

For me, a successful production is as much about the experience as the finished film. I listen closely, communicate clearly, and bring energy, preparation, and resourcefulness to every set. I take the trust of my producers and clients seriously, and I’m committed to making their jobs easier throughout the process. My goal is to deliver work they’re proud to put their name on—and build relationships that last well beyond a single project.
